Building on the legacy of Santa Rosa’s original vaudeville California Theatre (1923-77), The California offers a variety of cultural activities, including live music, comedy, theatre, dance, lectures, classes and more. The versatile 99-229 seat event venue with full bar and kitchen is home of resident programs Left Edge Theatre, Young Actors Studio, Forbidden Kiss Erotic Cabaret, Monday Pro Jam, Creature Comedy, and Salsa Sundays.
